Rocketfish Wireless Speakers
The Rocketfish Wireless speakers range allows you to enjoy music anywhere in your house without trailing speaker wire all around. The range is high quality and connects to a source device (computer, home cinema system and so on), enabling you, the listener to hear your tunes in high quality.
RocketFish offers a nice range of wireless speakers to choose from and all are very quick and easy to set up. They offer great solutions if your sound source cannot be moved. For example, if you have an outdoor decking, you can place the speakers out there which would be great for parties or just a nice atmosphere to relax to. Alternatively, you can move them anywhere else in the home, while you do the house work or whatever you want.
It's also a great solution to place speakers in the kitchen and have them hooked up to the television in the other room. the sounds will be piped wirelessly to the speakers so you don't have to miss any of the romantic movie to make a cup of coffee, or miss any of the commentary from the big game while you grab another beer!

The first system to look at is the Rocketfish 2.4GHz Wireless Indoor / Outdoor Speaker with Wireless Sender / Receiver. This has a sender which connects to your sound source, and then emits the signal to the speaker system which you set up anywhere in your home. The speaker system can be plugged into the mains, but if you want true wireless, then the unit also accepts battery power too.
For the technical specs, the speaker is 2.4GHz, outputting around 22 watts of power and has a range up to 164 feet. The sender also has the ability for another two speakers to be connected to it so that sound can be heard at the source as well, which is quite a neat feature.
The speaker can be used externally and can withstand the weather elements, making it a fantastic solution for outdoor parties, and the sound levels can also be controlled with the included remote control.
The dimensions of the speaker are 9" high x 16" wide x 9" deep. It is about 7 oz in weight.
The Rocketfish Wireless outdoor speaker can be bought separately and connected to the same sender further increasing your sound solution throughout the home.

The next system is the pair of Rocketfish Rocketboost Wireless Bookshelf Speakers. This speaker pair have an amplified power of approximately 14 watts and are primarily for indoor use only. They would make a good solution for an office with wireless connection to a computer, for someone who wants background sounds, but not right in front of them.
Of course the speakers can be used anywhere else in the home and have a wireless range of about 150 feet making them quite flexible in their use.
The system again has a sender and this can be connected to the source equipment in a variety of ways. If you have a small mp3 player or iPod, then you can connect via the 3.5mm jack from the headphone socket. For an amplifier, then this is connected via RCA cables and there is also a USB option for computers and laptops.
The speakers themselves will then receive the signal and these must be plugged into a power source.
If you have other Rocketfish systems in the house, these can easily be added to increase your sound options.
